Love the African Mahogany on a YG President. I got one just to remind me of the his/hers my parents got when new. Great combo, for sure. For a lighter look, the Birch is also nice.

Killer picture! And being B&W, it could double for my 118206. Looks awesome.

Didn't expect to join DAY-DATE club this early but decided to sell the Milgauss for a small profit and upgrade to a DAY-DATE. Full Box/Papers with a recent service. Looks stunning and it's functional with the lume dial/hands. Love the 18238 with the thinner case and lugs, as well as the brushed lugs.

I've never had a watch sit so well on my wrist. It has the heft of gold but definitely feels lighter than the newer models. I can fall asleep with this on wrist easily. 36mm but the presence is immense. Great combination of tasteful size, especially on my small 6.5 inch wrist, and a visual treat.

This and the 16710 are my 1-2 combo, one steel sports and one gold stunner.

Was gifted the YG with silver dial and romans

Thought I wanted chocolate dial of the criss-cross motif.

Fell in love with this one...

From Rolex site re sun dust dial

SUNDUST DIAL

A WATCHMAKING TECHNIQUE

The sunray finish on Rolex dials is a predominant method in watchmaking of achieving pure metallic colour dials such as shades of silver grey, rhodium or ruthenium. Silver-plating is mostly used as a base layer for the sunray finish, where further colour is added to the prepared dial. Sometimes colours such as champagne are achieved through electroplating with more than half a dozen different metals.
