Your Rolex in the plane

I’m wearing the wrong brand but I’ll pretend it says “your watch in a plane”. Delta mileage run. ORD to LAX, LAX to JFK, JFK to LAX, LAX to MSP

54 seconds into the flight to Chicago.

Not a Rolex, but quite capable of going quite a way above the ground.

I'll say! It's been tested to 238,900 miles above the earth, on multiple occasions :)

It was great. Thanks. Very privileged to get a go in such a rare and historically significant piece of Bomber Command hardware. A day I’ll never forget.

Looks great You can't talk pilot watch history without the Rolex GMT Master included. It's one of the greats.

Speedys can go anywhere, even TRF. They own the high "ground", not subject to earthly rules. That's why, unlike some dive watches I know that won't be named here, a Speedy is the one "tool watch" that actually does look good with a tux. Goes with anything it wants to go with, and what's a party penguin disguise compared to a A7L suit used for primary life support while taking care of business in space?

What a great day, and sitting right next to those 4 RR Merlins too. That's a Beautiful Noise!
