Persols "007"... Or Ray Ban. But don't buy from a jack of all trades brands.Would Rolex be Rolex if they sold clothes.. What I'm trying to say is don't buy bullshit fashion brands like Prada or Gucci!! Leave that to the uneducated! And also ensure they are polarised lenses!!

Oakley Garage Rock, RayBan Wayfarer, Rayban Aviator or Randolph Engineering Concorde - only two design classics for me.
Wayfarer or Aviator - can't go wrong..........

Two pairs.
Most of the time I wear my Doc Ock* dark grey sunglasses from Spider-Man 2, Oliver Peoples Whistle, brushed chrome. The other times I wear my cognac colored Oliver Peoples Victory sunglasses. They're the sunglasses worn on Burn Notice, and also worn by Red Reddington on the Blacklist. I had both before they made it to the movies or tv. Always liked them both. But truthfully, I'm not much of a sunglasses guy. But those are the ones that I wear when I wear sunglasses. *The Doc Ock sunglasses are particularly fitting for me since I happen to look like Alfred Molina in that movie, but not quite as flabby and I'm shorter at 5'7". When I went to see SM2 opening day, some kids were there calling me Doc Ock, so I shook my fist at them menacingly and they laughed and ran away. :-) |

Hilarious thread. Never even crossed my mind that the two had any link whatsoever.

I had a pair of Maui Jim Akoni that got stolen when my car got broken into a few years ago. Figured I would replace them with another pair of MJs but they stopped making the Akoni and I couldn't find a pair that fit the same as the old pair.
Until I tried on my friend's Ray-Ban 8313 Carbon Fiber. I have other RB polarized but something about this lense color compares to the MJs that I loved so much. Very happy with them! |

Anybody checked out Oakley's new Prizm polarized lenses? There really awesome! I bought some Carbon Blades with Prism Daily lenses and they're my favorite pair of sunglasses of all time. They even beat out the Oakley X Metal series in my opinion.

Dont think I could pull off sunglasses unless they were clearly being used wholly to shield from the sun and for no aesthetic or fashion reason ..........
Sunglass version of a tool watch maybe |

Oakley flak jackets. Little dirty after a 28 mile trail ride and an hour at the pool.
