I'm a 49 year old Chief Engineer of an independent Television Production Facility. Our only current client is a 50 something year old US Soap Opera. I've been in the Broadcast TV biz since I was 21.

I found out yesterday the Engineer that gave me my start all those years ago is retiring tomorrow. I'm feeling a bit old today. I called him today and told him how much I appreciated learning from him and what he meant to me and my career.
