Thanks Dave. Your collection of Rolex watches along with a few other Forum members' collections (I am sure they know who they are) was inspiration and motivation for me to build up my own precious metal collection.

I'm genuinely happy for a guy I've never met in person! How about that? Good things to you. I wish you many more pieces should you continue to covet them whilst enjoying all these stunners have to offer.

Finally, to set the record straight regarding the rumors that you may have set a record- according to unofficial sanctioning bodies, you're flirting with an indoor record under the category of "Yellow Gold Trinity Trifecta,"* in the sub category of Rolex 36-40mm. After some debate a few years back, the Day Date II was removed from this competition, causing quite a stir. Some pundits feel that the release of the DD 40 at Basel 2015 was an effort by Rolex to quiet detractors and end the debate..

Congratulations my friend,

Dave
Thank you very much Dave for the well-written and heartfelt congratulations. It really means a lot to me, especially your comment about being genuinely happy for a guy you have never met in person.

Yellow Gold Trinity Trifecta. Love it. You truly are a master of words. In all honesty, I am extremely humbled you and other members on this Forum would compare my collection to the likes of Ken, Neil and some others. Thank you for that.

In any event, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you once again for your kind words and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Congrats to you Eric. This is a piece I hope to own one day. I just bought the TT Sub in blue and just waiting for the watch to arrive soon. This is one eye catching watch. Love the all gold.

Thank you my friend.

Congrats on your incoming as well and can't wait to see it. The TT blue Sub is one of the best looking references out there.

Thanks again!
