Ok heres my contribution. Happy i came across this thread because i had some questions about my Blue Snowflake. Original Papers Date the watch as being bought in Sept of 1977 but when i check the serial number it dates it to around 1978. Now most of them say there only estimates so who knows.

Here it is.

Serial Number 8968XX

Bought by Original owner in Sept 1977 in Hong Kong

Model# 9411

Two bracelets that were included, was the original 7836 Folded link with the Date stamp B which dates it to 1977 and a 9513 with the date stamp G 1982. Both have 380 end links.

Dial , Hands and Bezel insert are all original. Only the pearl was replaced during a service.

Im hoping this helps answer questions about Tudor serial numbers since there seems to be so much confusion on them

Note* the 93150 that is in the pictures was not involved in the sale. i added it.

If anybody has any good information for me please let me know.

Can anyone identify this Tudor model?

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for any help with identifying the model and version of the watch pictured below. I believe it was originally purchased in 1975 or so in Zurich. When I search online, none of the Prince models look like this, yet the face while close to a vintage sub model is different. The color is also pretty unusual. Anyone able to offer me an education?

Best to you,

Barry

Hadnt seen anything like that 'Original' one before..and I like it.. Alot.. Quite unique from the 'Norm'. I guess it would be a good idea to remove the bracelet and get the numbers off the lug sides for more info in the search. Very Interesting...!! ----

Thanks Jatko

Thanks much,

I didn't know there are more numbers on the outside of the case; I will see if I can find a jewler to help me remove the band and see what I can find.

I have an Oyster Prince 34 with a serial # 266xxx. I'm guessing its a 1958. Any thoughts would be helpful.

From what I can read on the many information portals regarding the Tudor, I may very well have the lowest serial number Submariner. The serial number/date record will have to be re-written, as it stands it shows my watch as a 1983 but the snowflake is recorded as being out of production after 1980.

This is my original owner 7928/0 II/67, 7206 I/68 bracelet and 80 endpieces (bought in October 1968 at Angus and Coote in Warringah Mall, Brookvale, Sydney, Australia), serial nr 596000.

It recently had a full overhaul and a new bezel insert and pearl had to be fitted because the originals went over the side in Bass Strait in the 1970 Sydney to Hobart race.

Tudor Info Contribution

Greetings! New to the Rolex Forums community! In light of the recent acquisition of my first Rolex "family" timepiece, a vintage Tudor, I now have the burning desire to discuss all things Rolex/Tudor! (Undoubtedly, the first Rolex is coming; could be years away, but the fever cannot be cured!) I've been passionate about all things watch-related (and Rolex in particular) since I was about 10 or 11!

Now, on to the good stuff!

Tudor Serial #1751xx
[likely a 1986 model; I've no papers--only based upon serial number, and clasp code: K6]
Prince Oysterdate Auto, Ref. 75204
Mvmt: ETA 2824, 25 jewels, hacking, TUDOR (w/shield) engraved on embellished rotor; also engraved on bridge: "25 Jewels Swiss Made; Auto Prince"
Materials: SS 34-mm (w/o crown) case with fluted 14k white gold bezel; Rolex-signed 5.3-mm crown; raised acrylic crystal; caseback engraving/w Rolex coronet: "Original Oyster Case by Rolex Geneva" (caseback interior: "Montres Tudor S.A. Geneva Switzerland Stainless Steel 74000 CRS"); SS bracelet (jubilee-style) #6248-19, #597 endlinks; clasp hinge stamped with "TUDOR Watch Co., Ltd. Geneva, Switzerland" (as well as #'s previously mentioned); clasp is stamped with Tudor shield.
Dial/Hands: Silver dial with Tudor shield at "12"; bâtonnet (stick) polished SS? markers and luminous SS? hands; lume pip found at end of each marker (lume still glows, albeit somewhat faintly!); text: TUDOR Prince Oysterdate (top portion), Rotor Self-Winding (bottom portion); "Swiss" beneath "6" marker.

Obtained from upstanding seller on eBay (seller personally sent photos, per my request before purchasing--for verification, of the serial number on "6" lugs). Again, no papers or original box, but service dates inscribed on inside of caseback.

if anyone can help please let me know.

Thank you,

Hi Everyone,

Does this look like an authentic serial number for a Tudor 79190? I don’t see any serial numbers starting with “B6” on any Tudor serial number lists I’ve found.

Thanks.

Tudor 74000 - Help with serial

Hi all, I have a Vintage Tudor 74000 on oyster bracelet. It’s a Prince Oyster date with ETA movement. Silver dial with golden indices and hands.

I have checked the serial in between the lugs and it is just 5 digits long as opposed to 6! So I’m a little confused as to what year this could belong to. If someone could shed light, it would indeed be helpful. Thanks
