Much better, it works fine on you. Close-up wrist shots are always a bad idea as they make watches look bigger than they really are.
Just don't walk around like that with your chest puffed up and your arms tensed

Looks great to me. Just shows you how wrist shots can be deceptive. That first photo definitely made the watch too big but in the body shot it looks fine and you can carry it of. A lot of people on this forum take wrist shots with a mobile phone camera right over the wrist. Mobile cameras distort and the closer they are to the subject the greater the concave distortion. Even my 36mm Datejust looks too big in a shot like that. Look at my wrist shot in my avatar - no way does my GMT look that big in "real time".

Yes, too big, but it looks better when you flex. So just flex all the time.

Based on the first pic in the thread I'm gonna guess op has a Rolex crown branded into the back of his hand by now.

Don't get riled up friend, it's all in good fun, plus it's the weekend.
On a serious note....with making this thread and potentially questioning the size, along with entertaining a trade so soon.......I think you should conclude that this watch isn't for you. |

Well, that is a better perspective and so I will change my mind . . . it does not look too big.

I didn't realize how thick the SD is. I tried one on today. Looks perfect on my wrist, as far as diameter. But it's thick, quite the robust piece! OP, if you like it, wear it!

As I have said before, I think it looks good on you. That said, i think you should make the trade for the DJ41 however. Money wise it isn't bad, although the DJ may not keep value as well. But I think once the seed of doubt has been planted, it's always going to be there. If you think you'd be happier with the DJ then there is nothing wrong with that. It's worse to try to convince yourself you love something you have doubts about.
I had a similar scenario with a pelagos not long ago, and while it's a great watch and gets a lot of love it just wasn't for me in the long run despite enjoying it when trying and during the honeymoon period. |

I think it does look too big... and yet it's not so much a case of being too big for you in particular. The issue is that the Sub design simply doesn't scale up to that size well and it shows.
It looks off even in the full body shot, whereas I don't get that feeling from even 43mm+ divers that are designed with big size in mind, such as a Seiko Tuna, Omega PloProf, etc |
