RIP to my Dan Henry. It was in a drawer with all my shorts.
I had grabbed a pair of shorts quickly this morning before heading to a dental appointment in Central. Apparently, this caused the watch to drop onto the hard plastic floor of the drawer. It couldn't have fallen far, but it was enough to shatter the glass. Sent from my SM-G9550 using Tapatalk |

Are you going to let your DH diver get repaired?

I wonder if a suitable acrylic crystal could be found. That would make it even better, IMO.

But if you decide to go down this road you'll probably have to give up the water resistance. |

That's a good question for DH. Isn't it? Why mineral crystal than acrylic? "If you're not having fun you're doing something wrong". Groucho Marx. |

I've wondered this too. I wish he had used acrylic. I thought mineral glass was pretty tough, but Steve's photo does not inspire confidence.

I will miss the watch though. It was a lot nicer than the Swatch that replaced it |

That is very generous, Carlos. Thank you. Truthfully I've already disposed of the watch. What I have left are 1) the Dan Henry watch roll and 2) good memories

Just ordered the silver 1939. We’re visiting family in Canada now so my new chronograph will be waiting at the post office until we return. Sure has a great looking dial.

Thanks Gary, yes it is pretty easy-wearing. Quite heavy though. The two piece case is really substantial.
