Pay the money if you want it. You will never get it otherwise. Sad but true. Join the two years and waiting buyers on lists. LOL.

My view on the OPs question - MSRP bears only a coincidental relationship to market price, so no need to get hung up on it. The question is whether there there’s another 18.5k watch that floats your boat more than a Daytona - and if not, then go for it
well said.

I like David, I've bought multiple Rolexes from him, but trusted sellers here are all selling at market pricing, which is massively over MSRP.

When I was looking he was one of the higher priced options!!!

Back to 18K. If you can swing it and it's the best you can do/find, go for it!!!

I too had this dilemma I had 14,500 GBP to spend which is the equivalent of about 18,000 Dollars but decided I wanted a 2018 T/T Daytona 116503 (New Model) with the White MOP eight Diamonds Dial. I traded a 2017 T/T Daytona with White Dial & Gold Sub Dials. I just think for that money the T/T Daytona is better value. Don't get me wrong I think the S/S Daytona is a lovely Watch but spending that much money I wanted something more than a S/S Model It is really all down personal preference
