Who decides nicknames for Rolex models? Because the SD43 needs a new handle.

I’m not saying I like the nick names. I’m a bit more Switzerland about it (lol), I’m just saying it might be a little easier if we all just accept the fact that they exist.

When I talk about a BLNR, some people know what I’m talking about, when I say Batman, everyone knows.

Hit the nail on the head! Handles like '' THE HULK'' are just one of the things that draw so many to Rolex.

I mean who would buy an ugly green Rolex if it didn't have a cool name?
Just kidding guys.

Isn't it actually SD50? Maybe we should average the two and rename it SD46.5.

.....because we aren’t geeky enough for hanging out on watch forums, we need to really bring it home with nicknames.

I think we should call the the “couch dweller” because at 43mm it’s a fatass and needs a diet

After indulging in a great tribute book to Muhammad Ali, I thought this name very easily fits the bill.
Since it is arguably the greatest Sea-Dweller of all time my handle for this new iconic piece is...

The
GOAT SD.

I referred to it as the anniversary sea-dweller yesterday. It came out of my mouth pretty easily. In writing, DS43 or 126600 works.

Bring back this this post I must...
Some wish it would die, I know

I vote with 007 on VADER. For a final and proper handle for the 122660 SD, For its robust presence, and its red light saber line.

Also because I saw someone else referred to it on another forum by the same name so I guess it’s catching.
