I have ~7" wrist and personally found the DSSD more comfortable to wear than the SD43. DSSD is noticeably thicker though. My recommendation is to try and seek out the watches and try them on to be sure how they fit your hand. Measurements don't always tell the whole story.

Thanks to both of you. I have yet to see one in person, I've only tried on the SD 40mm but this one has really piqued my interest.

It’s a constant reminder, I’m wearing a watch, due to the heavy weight on the wrist. Regardless, I’m very much enjoying this beauty & a beast single red SD43. Congratulations

Of course it's heavier than the 16600 (182 vs. 143g) but after a day or two and you will no longer notice it My heaviest watch comes in at 217g and that one starts to make itself known after the work day comes to an end, but the 126600 is perfect.

It's of course important that the bracelet fits you comfortably. Many owners have elected to remove the diver's extension in favor of regular links only. I've still got the ext. but I may give all-links a try considering I don't need the ext. for my desk-diving activities

The 116660 was larger than the SD43
