Got mine yesterday. Paid MSRP+tax after 9 months wait. AD removed all stickers but gave me the warranty card.

Been enjoying the GMT Master II "Pepsi" as an owner for 20 years! Haven't dialed in the Jubilee just yet, but I will get there.

Well, I am certainly enjoying looking at all the great photos! And I have to admit that, when the watch was first announced last year at Basel, I simply did not feel the enthusiasm that most seemed to have.

I even got to try one on at my AD. One of the associates there has one, so I am free to try it on whenever he is wearing it. Last time was about six months ago.

A few weeks ago, my Zenith AD got in the El Primero Chronomaster 38mm, with silver dial, multi-colored sub dials and red chrono hand. One of my very favorite chronographs of all time. I commented, as I have done in the past, how versatile the watch is with the beautiful multi colored dial, among other aspects. Especially the size. And this is the first time I had ever seen it with the stainless steel bracelet, with polished center links. Here is my wrist shot:

Maybe you see where I'm going with this? No sooner did I get home, than I saw another "incoming" for the BLRO. And I really took notice of the colored bezel and red GMT hand against the black dial, and the beautiful Jublee bracelet. Something just "clicked", and it dawned on me that I was actually liking the aesthetics of the BLRO a lot more, maybe even better than the Zenith.

Anyway, I have really been paying close attention to the BLRO since that day. I actually thought it was going to be more expensive, turns out exactly $1000CAD higher than the Zenith.

I really don't understand what took me so long to appreciate this watch as I do now. I was all excited about selling much of my collection in order to get a DD40, but I am really starting to think I might like the BLRO better. It will just take a lot longer to get! I will have a look at it and try it on once more, but I think it might just be the one!

Keep the pics coming, guys! I am really getting quite excited!

Cheers,
Carl

Have had it for 6 days. Worn it for 5 days. One of the best modern Rolexes in my opinion.

Can anyone tell me how to get my hands on a pepsi, all these pictures are giving me a heartattack. Will these always be a rare model?
