Haha, have the same Steinhart Marine Chronometer with Arabic dial. In my collection it sorta stands out (yes price difference, the pink elephant) like yours, however that was the first watch my girlfriend in college (now wife) bought me with her first few part time paychecks. So there is alot of sentimental value for me. I rarely wear it but will never let it go. Oddly enough she is the one egging me on to sell cause it takes up valuable real estate in the watch box.

Wonder what your reason on keeping it is?

In 2018 bought and sold a Exp 39mm, bought and sold a SubC, bought and sold a Tudor North Flag. I’m down to this 36mm beauty. I keep trying to talk myself into other watches but this Explorer makes it difficult.

What a collection Doc, wow! My collection is a modest SD43 at the moment, I anticipate that’ll grow once the SS craze dies down.

With the exception of the CHNR; which I swapped out for a YMII. I try to keep my collection, diverse and interesting.

The 2018 additions. My list for 2019 is now even longer after eye candy threads like this.

I have 3 watches in my collection and while I have bought and sold a lot of watches, I believe I am at the point that my buying decisions are more thought out and I expect that I will keep these watches and add 2-3 more. I wear my watches for about a month and then switch so I do t see myself having more than 6 and maybe less. I really love the 3 that I own.IMG_4879.jpg
