Manipulative?

He was just explaining that he disagrees with “happy wife happy life”

I think the females that go around saying that are more manipulative than he is

He is just standing up for himself

Happy wife. Happy life.

Happy husband. Happy life.

Happy children. Happy life.

What’s wrong with being happy? The saying is simple to me. If you can make your loved ones happy you are happy in return. That’s something I try to live by in my relationships.

The values are no longer what they used to be, there is no point in lying in a marriage and bring back one without notifying her.
If your wife does not accept bring her with you for a test to an AD and try to show her the quality of these watches and explain this attraction...

Mine does not share this passion for watches and Rolex. But she always let me do it, as long as the purchase has no impact on anything else, and life goes on afterwards.
Always lucky to have this extra money, she is so happy for me.
On the other hand for the question, my wife would pass before any watch or material object, just like my children, I will be ready to throw one on the ground in such a case

There is nothing wrong with being happy. The thing is nobody ever says it like you wrote it.

It’s always “happy wife happy life” and that is it.

My argument is that both sexes have the right to be happy.

And the way that this thread started is that a wife is mad at the guy, and he has to choose his next move

Someone replied “happy wife happy life” like someone always replies to threads like this

I simply argue that your wife being happy doesn’t imply that you will be happy.

I’d go with wife. Watches are much easier to replace.

Absolutely. It’s a 2-way street. I concur

Nothing. Who's going to wear it? If it's you then just wear it and enjoy it. I'm sure she has things you might find hideous also. I wear what I like, not what someone else likes. ..;)

Notice I said significant other and not wife? 16 years into this relationship and no plans of marriage. No interest in legally dividing my assets or hers. She has her bank account, and I have mine. It works well- and we stick together because we want to, not because we have to or are legally bound to do so.

Do you live in a common law state? If so, according to the state, you are legal wed to her (in most CL states you are legally wed after 7 years).

Yep. Watches for women aka females aka "wives" (wives are usually women but let's not go there.. so lets say "female partners".. of same sex or other) are the only thing AD's stock or can even display anymore...

You can forget about watches for blokes/male partners/ males etc..

AD's simply don't stock them or can't get them..or if they can get one (maybe ..like never...) you will be a dead male before you ever see them..

Cheers
