I’m here for the watches (and a reader since the start even if not a poster). I think we’re all here for the same reason

Ha! We made the same points! I’m glad you’re done. Bye bye
Maybe I’m just jealous that they didn’t use the advanced technology to put a cyclops on the DSSD. I know every time I wear one of my other Rolex, I think to myself “wow, what a technical marvel”. Go back and read.....
I didn’t address you first, you jumped on one of my posts and told me to read more and type less.
Get lost!

Why can’t we all just get along and bond over our love of Sea-Dwellers?

I think Rolex made a point of not fitting it to any other dive watch.
And I should imagine it will never appear on any other dive watch until the DSSD is actually discontinued.

In summary, at the mothership the Glidelock on the DSSD is most likely regarded as being an exlusive feature of the model.

I agree they did on purpose but imo it was a cost-saving measure. Perhaps it says more about the price point Rolex chose for the SD43 and an indication of future price increases. There really was no reason for Rolex to charge such a premium over the outgoing SD4k. At least to me seems like sloppy business strategy.
