You bet. They're all over the place.

They're simply not worth it. None of the SS Rolex are worth that much. MSRP is even a bit much for what is offered. As said by another member, one should be looking at PM at this price point. And no, it's not about what people are willing to pay for. During the WWII occupation of my country people would pay fortunes for a loaf of bread. We all know it's still worth like 99 cents, actually.

Lol it wasn’t literal. It meant more, I will not be making luxury purchases for the next few months.

Let the guys willing to pay $27k for a SS Daytona continue to pay it. Who cares its not your money.

I for one wont be paying these ridiculous sums of cash for a watch that isnt really worth anymore than MSRP in my eyes.

Same goes for the LV/BLRO and Blue SkyD. I just cant see how any SS Rolex fetches $20k or more. They simply arent worth those prices no matter how much you love Rolex. But like anything let the market dictate it I'm certain alot of ppl are going to get hurt buying at these prices.

I think a lot of people on forum don’t understand is that there are people who are in a different position where they won’t get “hurt”. I had a guy see me the other day who bought some stuff because he made 10 million on Tesla over a week.

There’s kids making a million a month selling on amazon.

Grocery store chain owners buying RMs.

The list goes on and on.

Some people have too much money and don’t give a damn. 27k on a white Daytona isn’t anything to someone who makes that much or more a day.

Never..MSRP or less for me. I purchased three new ss models from my AD before I was offered a Blnr. All with discounts. I was never interested in the super hot models enough to join that good fight. I was offeed a smoking deal on a pre ceramic black Daytona (trade in) last year which I respectfully turned down. I did get on board recently with a VC Overseas so I'm set for now. Lurking at Panerai lately but no rush

At one point there were people willing to pay $5000 over MSRP for a PT cruiser.

The guys you are talking about are top 0.1% of the entire population. They are not the ones hoarding all the Rolex's imho and they are not the sole group of buyers causing all this hype. There is just not enough of them to have this much influence.

If your analogy is taken flip it the other way. How many have you seen buy Rolex's that are making like $25 an hour, renting their house and have like $1k in savings and nothing more to their name? I've seen heaps. Kids flexing on instagram showing they bought a new BLNR for $14k and you click on their instagram profile and they work in fast food or as a waiter somewhere. 1000s upon 1000s of those ppl.

If I were looking for a SS Daytona I would definitely look at PM. For another 8k you can have a WG Daytona Oysterflex which is a stunning watch.
