I have ordered the new adjustable clasp for the aqua dial from IWC. Hopefully the new clasp solves the “digging” problem. Overall I am in love with the watch. To be clear, this is my 3rd time owning the Ingenieur. First time was in 2015 (reference 323904) and the next time same reference in 2021.

Fabulous pick up. Congratulations

I am here to testify that the adjustable clasp is on point and will fix your issue.

Thank you so much. I was really really hoping someone would confirm that the adjustable clasp works and would solve my issue.

I need to see it in person. I’m planning a new purchase soon and this could be in the running along with a couple of others.

Wow, what an amazing photo. It’s so sharp that when you zoom in and out it almost looks like it’s really in front of you. I’ve seen it many times in real life and this photo captured its looks perfectly.

Got the adjustable clasp last evening. Fitted it and the adjustable clasp is absolutely ON POINT. Super super happy with the results.

A word in support of the new IWC Ingenieur

66%.

66% designed by Genta.
66% from The Holy Trinity.
66% with clear case back.
66% with a seconds hand.

100% awesomeness!

What's the adjustable clasp? I too think the clasp digs a bit into my wrist and would like to understand if there's an alternative.

It’s the clasp from the smaller pilot Mark 20 something. Has a push button slider. Magically my original bracelet fits great with no need for the slider at this point. I’m concerned the substitute doesn’t flow as well as original clasp. I got lucky with sizing for once.

I was able to try on all 4 versions yesterday. At first I thought the white dial was the best but after leaving, I can't get the Aqua off my mind.

As I pointed out on another thread, I traded my black Ingy for an aqua. Aqua was not available to me when I bought the black one. Love the aqua!

Call me old fashioned but that blue dial is what they should have released over the aqua as part of the original tranche. Looks great.

It looks like the price has come down, certainly in the UK. Was £10,500, but now £10,100. This feels like IWC delivering a kick in the teeth to early adopters.

Still the same €12,700 (tax included) price over here….

Hands on pic of the blue. Just arrived a few minutes ago. Initial impression is I rather prefer this over the Aqua and will likely sell that one off. Going to give it a few days to settle in before I make that final call. As another member stated, this should have been the part of the original (re) release. I like this one a lot.
