I also want to try to get the D-Blue instead. Anyone know if Jewelers Mutual will let that slide if I pay the difference? Anyone have experience swapping models through insurance?

Sorry to hear you lost your watch. I saw a black 126660 in the display case at Fourtane this past weekend.

Deep-Sea RubberB strap

Has anyone used the RubberB strap on their Rolex Deep-sea?

Incredible shots!!

How did you take them? I have had trouble even seeing the LEC on my 126660, let alone taking a photo of it...impressed!!

I have noticed that on some DSSD watches that there is a small Rolex logo at 6pm and others there are not.

What does this slight change mean?

The small crown in between the words Swiss and Made?

That was introduced on the DSSD this year, with the change of reference from 116660 to 126660.

From -4+6 (https://www.minus4plus6.com/deepsea.php), “After wearing the DSSD (116660) for almost a year as my daily wearer, I traded it for a SeaDweller 4000 (ref 116600). . . The DSSD is wearable on a 6 5/8th wrist, but after weeks of wearing it, my wrist started to feel fatigued and I resorted to wearing my much lighter Explorer II 216570.”

Fatigued over 210 Grams? Give me a break. What tortured rationalizations have you used to sell and buy?

Happy to add my 126660 to the club. I’m glad I went for the black dial because nothing is as pleasing as that matte black dial in direct sunlight for me.
