Got it.

Hi Adam! Bit late but very busy these days!
Looks very nice. I love mesh bracelets, you know, but not sure for a Chronograph. I'm more with the perforated leather strap.
If you like it, enjoy it!! Cheers!

I came very close to purchasing this watch but I just don't dig the name of the watch. I don't like to wear a name on the dial unless my name is Dan Henry too!! I would have preferred some brand name instead of person's name on the dial!

I really like the leather strap it came with, too, but it's still too hot and humid here to wear it

Agree! When is hot and humid the best is SS bracelet. Here is very hot too, in November, in France will change to strap!

Crazy it broke so easily! As I moved recently, mine is still in the moving box somewhere. - Hope it survived...
On the other hand though, My swatch sistem51 that I wore twice, seemed to have died on me when I took it out of the budi a few days ago.

I will miss the watch though. It was a lot nicer than the Swatch that replaced it

One month on (and off) the wrist, and my 1939 has gained just over one second, so it's keeping quite close to Grand Seiko quartz accuracy so far.

Still liking it, too

Haven't seen mine yet Adam.

Last update was they were in Poland.

If anyone sees them let me know.

No points for Dan Henry so far.

I should have expected this when I read 'freight free'.

A stroke of bad luck, I guess. Maybe #4 (my serial) really does have evil powers

what do you think of the Longines Legend Diver? It reminds me a lot of the Dan Henry diver

Yes but nothing shows after 26/9/17.

Probably the usual issues with Australia post?

I have sent them another update request and they have sent this to their 'fulfillment team'.

The white/silver 1939 was my first, too, followed by the black 1968. I'm really happy with both, but I think that will do it for me, for now, though I'm looking forward to seeing what comes along next.

Thanks, yes, they're both keeping really good time ... gaining less than two seconds per month, which is better than my Oysterquartz, so the movements are at least decent quality, it seems. The stopwatch hand can also be recalibrated manually if it ever goes slightly off centre.

The case quality and design is the thing that stands out the most for me, though. Also, I have done many (not very careful) strap changes and there are no marks on the lugs at all. I'm not sure how that works, but it's another plus point, IMO.

Thank you for the feedback, I will definitely be looking into more this week. I’m a big fan of strap changing so that is a HUGE plus.

Good looking combo Adam--better than the black OEM strap.

Thanks Gary, I agree. It's a great quality strap for just over $30. Really nice leather and hardware. https://www.watchgecko.com/desert-pa...atch-strap.php

While browsing r/watches, I found a thread about the crystal on the 40 mm diver. I had assumed I dropped my watch. But apparently they can explode while sitting still. Sales have been suspended while they sort it out.

Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/com...re_diver_1970/

That's disappointing. Seems it's only an issue with the 40mm 1970, though, and DH is being pretty open about it. Thanks for the links Steve.
