Probably because Florida does not have a large sheep population (such as NZ).

No, no - vague and distant reference to large quantity of odd flavored potato chips.

Well, good thing you are ingesting them and not trying to mate with them - otherwise, you might be in jail right about now.... (thanks, Jen!)

If you think for one moment that anyone condones bestiality you are sadly mistaken.

The thread you link too was entirely light hearted and directed primarily towards JJ who is intelligent and good humoured to know the posts were just made in a totally fictious, and friendly manner.

The fact that there is 15 pages is probably an indication more of how popular JJ is among the huge population of forum members than anything else. Granted viewed in isolation the thread did go on and on, but no one seriously condoned bestiality.

So where is your evidence that the moderators/administrators seriously condoned the crime of bestiality? You have a short time to respond.

I know JJ very well as a very well respected family man with a heart of gold and this kind of serious allegation that you seem to suggest is untenable.

You seem to have a real problem discerning reality from fiction.

Then the mods come in with some advice along with a few members who urge him to stay.

Then we have the two super tossers of TRF (you know who) encouraged by some of our super-tosserettes and some over-sized baked potatoes who manage to mangle the thread and change its course all over the place......

Then "How the hell did I get dragged into this one?" comes into play!!

And, finally, the OP must be so confused and laghing his ass off by now, that I'm sure he's decided to stay!!

Hell, why would anyone want to quit TRF under their own steam?

There's only ONE way out of TRF!! The BAN button!!

Cheers - JJ

Now we're onto eating crab!!

This is one of the maddest threads ever! We only need to bring in Chuck Norris!

i've spent the last 20 minutes or so reading this thread, and i'm trying to figure out what is going on. Can anyone explain? Is this thread about sex, drugs and rock-n-roll?

and if so, can I have some?

because at one point i thought this thread was about gagging on, err, pizza?

or was it nukes and banners, the new game board?

You seem to have a real problem discerning reality from fiction.
In my brief time as a member here (not even 2 years), the times gun and knives posts have descended into arguments the old "bestiality" always raises it's head. It even occured during the split last year when certain members went off to start their own forum and write their own rules as it was unfair to ban talk of guns but sex with sheep is okay etc etc (although last I heard they had to limit the gun talk as it was causing the same problems as it does here).

Anyway, Steve's point is spot on. This argument will always be a moot point as the target is a piece of comedy fiction. I'm pretty sure nobody here believes JJ has actual relations with a sheep, the same as I hope nobody thinks Paulie is in the mafia, Joe is obsessed with crab flavoured snacks, martin is a transvestite, I pick up men at the bus station, Frans lives in a bathtub full of gin , Jim lives solely on corndogs or Steve is in fact a Guinness drinking Squirrel...it is all part of the fun.

It is taken as a joke and those involved are in on the laugh. To compare it to threads about "this is my collection" etc is crazy.

People are passionate about their collection of guns etc and therefore the posts are serious. The problem is, not everybody is as passionate about these things and maybe some are even offended.

The OP made a pithy comment about people being frightened by a picture of a gun...that is not the case. People aren't frightened by them, they are just concerned by them and the safety of the owners, their families and those around them.

I'm not bothered and concerned about a picture of a sheep in JJ's kitchen and I'm pretty sure a chunk of the membership aren't.

How do I have the audacity to say I know that?

The thread is still there! If enough people were upset about it and complained to the admin, I'm sure measures would be taken.

That's the sum of it all really, just like real life. If something offends, contact those in charge.

If you lived next door to somebody giving you grief, you'd talk to the authorities.

If you went to a restaurant and the people at the table next to you were swearing, smoking or whatever, you'd talk to the manager.

As I said before, it's simple really.
