So the gap is there and a tad bigger than with the oem strap but tbh it is a good strap . The leather is nice the quality is there and the clip on thing works well . Overall is it as good as the real deal ? no it is not but nice to have some options .
I might try some different leather next w some cool stitching who knows ….

I think the price is $350 for rubber strap

$450 for aligator strap, $50 more and a few months of wait if its custom color

I’m glad that VC is now receiving the attention it rightfully deserved. Their collection are exquisite and the overseas line with a creative strap change system is a game changer for me. Their dials - especially the blue one - is on part with FPJ bleu dials. The attention to detail truly reflects why they represent the pinnacle of watchmaking.

Great thread. Thanks all you trend setters for such great information!

Almost unbelievable what is happening with these now, but this thread has developed over a few years now, making the context fascinating!

Looks like the overseas beat the cryptona at its own game. Once seen as the HH underdog value play that's surely not the case now. A used 2020.

Well to be fair the Daytona starts at a lower price point and they make way more that said I won’t be 1% surprised when these hit $100k. It’s a better watch than a 5711 or 5167 that are both at or over 6 figures. It’s a honey of a piece and people have noticed

Indeed. I love my Daytonas as well. I suspect you're right. Plenty of chrono24 listings fishing in those waters.

I'm thankful for this thread for showing me the line so I could get mine before it went crazy.

Visited the remodeled Vacheron Boutique in the Palazzo and I thought it looked about the same. Good news is the same personalized service as before where enthusiasts work behind the counter. Rest of the other brand build out won’t be complete until April. They moved the other brands temporarily into Horologio. Probably the best experience I had visiting any of the stores.

AP at Crystals is reopen but outside of a new countertop looks about the same. Currently Appt only, seems like most of the staff was retained. No stock, less hope for an allocation for 2022 outside of watch for AP news at the end of March (punt the customer) experience.

Nice service at the Rolex Boutiques talking it up with enthusiasts at both the Wynn and Caesars but no stock anywhere. Bellagio and Crystals Rolex stores first words were we have nothing and wanted me out of the store fast. Stellar service at Breguet at the Bellagio, but then again I was the only person in the store.

Definitely stop by the Palazzo if you’re in Vegas if you want to talk VC with some genuine enthusiasts at the boutique. Just temper your expectations of getting a Overseas on the spot.

I love it, but it's trading about 3x retail now. I asked my local AD a year ago if I could get on the list and he said it was a 3-4 year wait because they had 3 on the list and they only get one per year. I asked about the rose gold blue dial Overseas Perpetual Calendar and he said there wasn't anyone on the list for that one, so I opted for that instead of paying the Chrono24 prices on the 4500V.
