im 31 and purchased my first rolex last week. Until then I would wear one of the many sub-$400 watches (Suunto, Citizen, Seiko, Skagen, Invicta, Adee Kaye, Timex, Guess, etc.).

I had been saving for a long time, but my DJII really commemorates 2012 for me, in which I moved, bought a second house, celebrated the birth of my first child, and climbed to an amazing rung on the software sales ladder in a new position at one of the fastest growing startups in the US.

It will likely be a long time before I can get another Rolex, but I will lurk around here learning more and more about them in the meantime :)
