Great Watch!!!

And Love Ian Toll. Six Frigates is a favorite.

Currently reading Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors by James Hornfischer, who sadly passed away 2 weeks ago far too young.

Isn’t Six Frigates just so great?! I’ve recommended it to so many people. The Pacific trilogy was an epic endeavor and he nailed it.

Will absolutely check out the Hornfischer. Thanks for the tip!

Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors, Neptune's Inferno, and the Fleet at Flood Tide are just masterpieces covering the Navy Pacific Campaings.

And if you love Six Frigates, I highly recommend this book: A Most Fortunate Ship: A Narrative History of Old Ironsides

Written by a former CO of the Constitution 30-40 years ago

Ya that's quite a bracelet, they didn't spare any gold making that one.

The non-lume up top { any idea why it was so common for the JP market ? }

I have heard the JP bracelets are VERY rare and expensive
