1959 Rolex Precision 6694

My 1959 gold shell 6694 Oysterdate with the 1225 movement. My first and still favourite Rolex.

I purchased it for $980 in 2009. A bit of a bargain I think.

1915 Rolex sterling silver cased Trench Watch with 13"' Rebberg 18 jewel "Extra Prima" movement. I picked it up today from my watchmaker after a lengthy restoration.

It's weird being the same age as old people.

Thanks!

Here's the 107 year old 18 jewel Rebberg movement. It still keeps great time (gains a minute in 24 hours).

You should get one, Chris! You want regret it, plus they are underpriced compared to 6 digit sport Rolexes!

You certainly should! An excellent daily companion that flies far under the radar in most situations. I would highly recommend, you can’t go wrong with a classic 4 digit submariner.
