Welcome to an awesome club, John. Your story was one of the reasons why I purchased mine earlier this month.

Had a 16600 that I sold and picked this up shortly thereafter and truly love the upgrades. The lack of date has not been an issue thus far and the bracelet and maxi dial are amazing! Truly love this piece and sorry for the back to back post.

I'm happy to take the blame on this one Hope you are enjoying it as much as I am. I'd like to wear some of my others, but I seem to always end up wearing the Sub.

For guys that did some mods to their SubC ND, is it possible to replace the crystal with the domed plexi crystal?

Rashid,
I don't know much about mods nor did I take the time to read. Why can't it be done? Is it the size or is it the fact that plexi crystals are only for older models? |

It has to do with both size and fit, and yes the plexis are just for the older models. Nothing is interchangeable btw old and new except maybe the bracelets and only on some models.

Even though I have a 116610LV already, I swear I'm going to break down and buy one of these too. Why do I want one of these so much?

I have an LV too and ended up picking up the 114060 earlier this month. The upgrades to clasp, bracelet and bezel along with its clean look own me over.

Need your opinions 114060 owners,
I recently purchase my BNIB 114060 from a very reputable seller here on TRF. It came with all the right paperwork. I also had my local AD sizing it for me. I was sure that this is a genuine piece. Until last night, I took the bracelet off for the first time to try on some straps. I noticed on the 12 o'clock side, It has the correct reference # "Org Rolex Design 114060" but on the 6 o'clock side, it only says "Stainless Steel" with no serial. Does this mean it is a fake? Thanks for help guys. |

You have an answer in the other post. Summarized; no - it is not fake.
