Err buddy Terry...thanks for your untiring efforts...

Sorry to bring this up with you again...BUT here's another few of those
FAKE so called "Rolex Tudor" ...all of which are being listed by another eBay PowerSeller - zitajewelry001

Everything there is about these so called "TUDOR BY ROLEX" or "Rolex Tudor" watches...is FAKE Rolex.

Err buddy Terry...here's a listings of FAKE so called "Rolex Tudor" in eBay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Ladies-Rolex-Tud...em230271957507

...n a couple more suspected FAKE "Rolex" by eBay Seller - hzor

Although the listings say "Customed Dial"...the Non-Original caseback markings clearly show that they are FAKES...

Perhaps better...if the Seller could show the closeup pics of any reference # between the lugs...the movement...bracelet...n inside of caseback...to see if these 2 watches are anywhere near to being genuine...

Orchi:

I reported all of these watches. I am also baffled by the Date Just. I have never seen a case back that is engraved like that on a Date Just. The only explanation I have is that it is custom done or fake though I am leaning towards the latter as he claims there is no box or papers. I reported them as well.

I really have to tip my hat to you guys in this section of the forum. You all do some great work removing these fakes from ebay. It's great to see in this day and age people willing to help others. eBay really should kick down some cash for all of the money that you guys save them from PayPal claims. This section of the forum has also has given me some knowledge about how to spot fakes from real watches. Thanks again and kudos to you all!!!

Err buddy Terry...yes Orchi should be reminded of your steadfast commitment to rid off FAKES n SCAMMERS in eBay...Thank you.

Here's one which is neither Rolex...nor is it a Tudor...but this eBay PowerSeller - watchbandman50 ... is seen to be laying claims of the brand names...n abusing them.

I reported it. I do have a couple more of the Rolex/Tudor watches that are persistently hanging on though I am pleased that they have taken this seriously and removed most of them I have reported.

Err buddy Terry...instead of using possibly ETA or ETA lookalike automatic mechanical movement...this FAKE so called "Rolex Tudor" watch has Quartz movement...is being listed in this instance by an eBay Platinum PowerSeller in UK - premadmin ...

n NO matter what the Platinum PowerSeller could possibly claim the watch to be...it is STILL...A FAKE...!!!

Err buddy Rockrolex...sure...you would have noticed those pictures of the watch which is said to be midsize Ref 69173...has a consistent Non-Rolex original engraved caseback similar with the other listings of fakes by the same n other such Sellers in eBay..which is NOT Rolex original...for this model or the ladies models highlighted before in here...

Similarly...those FAKES were reported to eBay by buddy Terry...n the listings of which are now taken off by eBay already since...

Hopes that helps...

They pulled many of these that we reported today. I reported the last ones that you listed today and they should be pulled tomorrow. These case backs are either after market backings or fake watches to begin with. With the bands not matching either, I am suspecting the latter. Rolex does not engrave the backs of watches to my knowledge unless someone can step in and prove us wrong. The only one's to my knowledge is the rare Daytona given out at the car race to winning drivers that say; "Winner At Rolex 24" and the Sea-Dweller. There may be some vintage watches in this category but these ain't it.

....Ladies watches DO HAVE the case backs engraved. Following are front and back of my wife's 6917 DJ (somewhat vintage), but does have the engravings. Did you forget the SD and Comex?? Sorry about the hand held pic's. Her watch is ACTUALLY BEAUTIFUL and matches my vintage 6605 2t DJ.

Err buddy Stan...Orchi could agree with you on the matter of Rolex Ladies model having engraved caseback for OLD Vintage that has 4 digits Model Case Reference...Orchi has seen it too...where the markings "Stainless Steel" n "Registered Design" were always engraved around the edge of the buffed surface of the caseback...exactly like your example of your wifey's watch Ref 6917...

However...the ones being highlighted in here which were listed in eBay for sale but now withdrawn by eBay...are having 5 Digits Model Case References with the serial numbers posted on those watches which would relate to the late 80s productions...which are far from having the original Rolex engravings...on the casebacks...

Those fake engravings circle more towards the centre of buffed surface on the casebacks...

I was only trying to enlighten Terry about the engravings on the ladies vintage as genuine.

Err buddy Stan...thank you very much.

Oh btw...you would also notice that almost everyone of those "Rolex" watches highlighted...have unbelievable near perfectly shaped cases...which is really scary if one takes into considerations of the abundance of such watches being listed in eBay...

Most of such watches would most likely have had the cases RE-Polished for at least more than once...like the example of your wifey's Ref 6917 watch...

It would be quite RARE n thus difficult to find one which has NOT been RE-polished before in its Original state of conditions...

Amazing...how so many of them ladies...midsize or men's with near perfect conditioned cases can be found simultaneously in eBay...!

Plus I make reference to the Sea-Dweller in my posting and he asks me; "Did you forget the SD?"

Oh Lord, Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.

Why am I never taken seriously.

I put down that the vintage watch may have had the engraved case back, but the one's we reported were not it. Then I get My Good Buddy Stanley lecturing me on the error of my ways.

Orchi:

Please take care of Stanly for me. I will authorize $500.00 for the rub-out. Please do it humanely as I like the guy.
