Are the honey brown/tan straps OEM or aftermarket?

How is the timekeeping on everyone's 3rd gen Overseas 4500V? Mine is +3 on crown down and +1 on dial up (when I put it down at night), but about -5 when I actually wear it. So on a daily basis I lose about 1 or 2 seconds. Shouldn't it be regulated so that the variances aren't that huge?

I'm behind the computer a lot, which basically means the watch is hanging with 12 o'clock down instead of dial up. I think watches that are regulated in 5 positions ignore the 12 o'clock postion. Is that what could be the case here?

Do you mind me asking how much the straps cost? Grey one would look great with my blue dial!

I paid £320 for it, which I thought was a bit pricey. But they said that the price before was 600! So I guess I'm happy

Mine has been running at + 1sec or +2 seconds per day. I ignore the different positions or how it rests at night, and measure the time the next 24 hours. I find it is amazingly accurate, within 2 seconds per day is amazing.

For someone who has seen the black dial dual time in person....is the dial that deep inky/gloss black like the time only black dial?

It seem like the blue and black dials are deep and lacquered almost and the silver and brown are sunray. Is that correct and is it the same for the dual time, chrono and time only?

Or are the black dials different on any of the three?

Thanks!

Saw the black dial while in the Maldives, then knew I had to get the blue at the nearest stopover (Doha for me). Even got a decent discount.
(Curse the 10 post limit preventing me from posting pics!!!!!!)

The grey is what comes with the Ultra Thin. Are they the same thickness, etc.? I would think so.

I wonder how the grey leather would look with the black face as an option to wear with browns and blues?

It might make the seconds track that has that greyish color pop a bit on the black dial.

I am still waiting for my blue 4500v and can’t wait. The availability seems to be scarce since I have waited for 2 months now.

Great to see that the VCO gets the recognition it deserves though!

Am visiting Zurich this weekend and spent some nice time at the VC boutique on Bahnhofstrasse. No lack of blue overseas models here...although the rep helping me was aware of wait lists in the US. That tourbillon is mesmerizing. My Blue Sky dweller shows just how much the VC dual pops...beautiful.

Here’s some pix

Anyone own/have pics of the 40mm white gold Overseas Self-Winding Ultra-Thin? Just wondering as it’s rarely seen or discussed. Certainly more expensive than the steel versions.

Great pictures Ceracrom! And yes, it puts the blue of the Rolex to shame.

Looks like VC Overseas Gen3 is getting popular. Is the demand now exceeding supply?

Blue dial requires maybe 3-4 months waiting at some ADs (i'm in Asia) but when I bought 4 months ago I still got discount

I went to AP boutique and they didn't even entertain putting me on royal oak waiting list.
I have zero regret getting the blue dial 4500V - i think it's the best buy now if you are still able to get discount
(after 4 months of ownership I think this watch is still easily worth paying full retail)

I just put down a deposit (30%) on B128. I was told by the "watch consultant" at the boutique that it will arrive sometime in April. He also mentioned that they gave "client accommodations" on these up until last August, but suddenly the demand started ramping up. Now no discounts. Still, can't wait to strap (or bracelet) it on when it arrives!
