Icon A5? How do you like it?

The only plane you can tow to the lake, unfold the wings, launch like a boat and fly point to point without an airport !

In the 1.2 I flew it, it was nice. Like an Audi with wings. It could use another 25 hp and 100lb useful load, but it was pretty neat. If I was going to get an LSA seaplane, I'd probably do a SeaRay, even if it's uglier, and save quite a bit of money...

But who’d ever trade a Sub for 120 Spirit tickets?!

This thread is making me want a pepsi GMT to go travelling with. Sorry if this has been asked already, but for those who fly commercial do you guys wear your watch going through security?

Lately the only work-around I thought of was to put the watch in a travel case and stuff it in my backpack, to avoid the possibility of security scoring a freebie. And then remove it when I get a chance to sit down somewhere after the security gate.

I thought that 904L steel was extremely non-magnetic, which leads me to believe it would't set off a metal detector. Unless I'm not understanding the alloy or technology properly...

I travel pretty extensively out of Atlanta and typically wear my Rolex Sub (41mm) or Rolex Explorer II (42mm) which is a chunky watch and I don't have any issue with any alarm going off. I also have a chunky Omega Speedmaster Racing which i think is 44.25 or something like that and again, no issues.

Every time, 10-15 times a year. Haven’t been asked to take it off in years. TSA pre and clear but i don’t know if that makes a difference.
