Sorry for the delay I was caught up with something. But here it is, I think this would look spectacular on your 02 Paul.

Roger,

Are you really flying from Hong Kong to New York first class for 2 hours to pick up your new watch and then jumping straight back on a plane home?
(No meetings etc whilst you're there?).

If so, you were already a legend of TRF but this takes your legend status to a whole new level.

:wor ship:

I'm so excited for you on your latest incoming and Paul has already hinted this could be an extra special one. I shall continue to live vicariously through you.

OVER 200,000 VIEWS of the RM thread---thank you all for coming to see some fun pieces.

I think Roger's most recent is a great reason why people love RM so much.

Keep the fun coming gents

Well like you say no wonder Roger's a legend here, he's the nuttiest of the bunch, I would never fly from HK to NYC just for 2 hours in NY and back, but I am not Roger lol

Yes it was a great pleasure to meet our dear friend Marciano but I am sorry to disappoint you all I was here for business and will be here until Thursday evening then onto Thailand for a few days R&R. Spending USD25,000 on a first class return to NYC for two hours to pick up a watch would indeed have been truly ludicrous and I am sorry to disappoint! I am now working on my next incoming but this one will take a year to arrive. I was inspired by Arnaud's current project but can't say more than that at this stage.

Oh Roger, taking a round trip from HK to NYC would have been so cool if just for the watch and to meet Marciano, very disappointed

Oh now my curiosity is on, I think if one year it is either Voutilainen like me, or maybe Roger Smith, but I think Kari is more interesting in the way that apart a few signatures of the watch, lugs and hands mostly, all the other parts are customizable to the max, and that's what's great and made me want one, in any case if you are commissioning a watch I am sure we'll be in for a huge treat, would love to see you get a minute repeater from one of them, or a PC would be cool as hell as well, will be a treat for next Christmas, can't wait to see it and happy to have inspired you my friend, I think you will love it, even yesterday I did fine tuning for 2 things, I decided on the font I want for the writing in the back of the case and decided I wanted brushed middle case, and this is well after I started, so even 8 months later I still have aspects of the watch that I want to change or decide, you will see it's very entertaining and a dream for all watch lovers, I mean what is cooler than getting a unique watch from a master watchmaker, especially that it is far from being cheap, but I feel that the price is very reasonable considering what I am getting, very happy that you will get to experience this as well.

Thanks Arnaud. Unfortunately I cannot disclose more details at the moment but it is not either of those two watchmakers.

Tried this On last week, amazingly comfortable and loved the way the movement looks from different angles.
The thinner case wraps around the wrist perfectly

Well I can understand that Roger, and am sure it will be epic as is usually the case when you are involved in watch incomings, funny I would have thought that you would get one from Roger Smith as you have mentioned him a few times, and him having the same name as you would have been interesting, but even if it's not one of these 2 I am sure it will be epic, hoping for a minute repeater here, don't see many around these parts, but I don't think it's one of the complications you fancy

The only minute repeater that appeals is the Supersonnerie but not high on the priority list at the moment.

Here you Paul. I need a proper camera to pick up all the complexity of the dial construction.

And one that can focus

Looks amazing and what a beauty!

I'm glad you were able to get some velcro straps--those are harder to find than the watches these days!

PRICE ALERT:

JUST in from TWO US AD's that RM decreased margins by 5% to AD's (i.e. less discounts to pass on to clients=higher prices).

Well they are certainly in a position to do this with such strong demand.

I cannot speak for pricing outside of US.
