Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust VS Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King

Hi, please help a newbie here... I know the Air-King is cheaper but what are the differences between them besides the look. Below are the 2 watches that I am interested in:

The DJ has a date, the AK does not (different movements)
The DJ has a 36mm case, the AK has a 34mm case
The DJ has polished center links, the AK is all brushed

I'm guessing the DJ, it's a more popular watch, but who knows what will be worth more two, five or ten years down the road. You're much better off buying the one you want to wear today.
