You like the rehaut having Rolex written all over it, also being able to easily see your serial number? Just curious as to your thoughts.....I own one with it, one without it.......doesnt bother me either way!

I'm in the "doesn't matter" category regarding my thoughts on the engraving itself. However, two caveats:

1. I affirmatively like the visible serial number

2. While the engraving in and of itself doesn't matter, if buying brand new I'd only buy one with the engraving because I'd want the latest model (unless purchasing NOS)

Good points.....I agree totally. If I had the choice between two watches (same model same style etc) but one had the rehaut engraced and the other one didnt I would lean towards the one that had the engraving. I do find it pops a little more on the all gold models which looks sharp IMO.

Agree 100%, especially if the engraving is on a model that is known to be discontinued, like the TT Subs.

Personally I don't like it - but I wasn't going to pass up on the SS Daytona when the AD called!

It shows up more in pictures than in the metal. Cheers,

The serial is fine but just Rolex once on the dial is fine for me just cannot see the need for any more. But IMHO many just wear the brand today so it will suite quite a few,I like my Rolex just plain and simple.

I could take it or leave it. Sometimes I think it looks neat and others times I miss the clean look.

I hate it. It's like putting bumper stickers for Dinosaur Village on your Ferrari.

I have avoided it on two purchases so far!

At least this Ferrari has a Rolex bumper sticker....but it's still clutter and I don't like it.

I am definately in the "hater" category. I think it makes the watch look less classy and apeal more to the bling segment, which I am not. I like it much better the old way and would choose one with out if I could. But it seems like most people here love it, so Roelx made a right move on this one.

It brings a certain amount of tangibility to the watch being rehaut.

2 of my 3 Rolex models have it - the Sub being a D-series doesn't. Who cares?

Agreed!
I didn't vote, only because my choice would have been: I like the Rolex rehaut, but not with the serial number on it.

don't mind it. If I had an option, I would properly op out. However, I would def have it on the rehaut rather than on the dial.
All of my 3 has them, but my mums and dads doesn't.
