AD OR GREY DEALER IN Hong Kong
Hi All the Rolex Fan
I am new in this forums and I have asked this question before, but it seem to go nowhere, I will be in H.K.soon I am very interested in buying the deep sea in H.K. The question is that 1> Is it worth buying in grey dealer rather than AD ? 2> How much cheaper buy in Grey Dealer compared with AD with 8 % discount. 3>Do anyone have any expererince of buying in grey dealer in H.K. ? I have heard some bad stories about FAKE / PROBLEM in grey dealer 4>Any Fans from Hong Kong can give me some advice Thanks in advance |

I stated recently in another thread that I recently bought a GMT IIc from Great Shanghai Watch (a grey dealer) at 58 Russell Street, Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island at 15% discount off MSRP. Worth to go there and have a look and you will be amazed at the huge collection of Rolexes that they have got.
One thing to watch out is to ensure that they will give you all the books which should come with the watch you prefer. Another downside to purchase Rolex from them is that the warranty card would already be stamped and dated for a few months old. Lastly, be warned that the staff in there are not super friendly as they get use to selling many Rolexes within a day therefore they are desperate for customers. Good luck. |

Lot's of AD's in Hong Kong all over the main shopping/tourist areas. Every mall will have at least one AD (either Chow Sang Sang or Chow Tai Fook, probably). Why buy from a gray when there are so many AD's around ? Cash talks and you pay no sales tax in Hong Kong.
