My wife thinks the watch pics thing is strange...

The girls had their Christmas pageant last night and were cast as livestock in the manger. I'm sure there has never ever been such award winning performances turned in by a cow and a sheep in the whole history of 1st grade productions!

Now comes the friction with the wife. At this time I believe she said "Mike get your arm down, nobody wants to see another picture of your watch". I humbly disagree as I know several other WIS who never tire of seeing a Day Date with ivory pyramid dial.

Can you see the disgust on her face in this one? I'm not sure if it is because I asked her to turn her wrist so I could see the Pepsi bezel or if it is because I casually commented on how the sheep hat perfectly matched her sweater. And would she like one for Chritsmas?

Anyway these pics are just for me and any other watch weirdos (her words not mine) out there.
Best,
Mike

Mike, I think that pepsi bezel looks familiar.

And yes, that glare is very familiar.

I believe those are daggers being shot from those eyes...

That aside, I think it's very...ahem...appealing that your wife is wearing a GMT Master!

In the interests of gender fairness, I know plenty of guys who don't get the Watch Thing, either. These are the I-got-my-Citizen-at-Kmart-and-it-keeps-time-better-than-your-Rolex types that we all deal with on a daily basis. Tell your wife if she's that unhappy with her Pepsi, she can send it to me and spare herself further indignity.

This deserves to be in the hall of fame somewhere.

I have not laughed out loud at a post on here in quite some time...but this one is absolutely hilarious!!!!

By the way, my wife commented that only thing you're probably getting for Christmas is a bottle of hand lotion.

She thought it was funny as well, especially the comment about "would she like one for Christmas".

Classic, simply classic.

My wife initially thought so too.

But, with all of my other strange obsessions with Rolex watches, she quickly understood !

This was a most hilarious post. Cute kids and oh so ticked off wife.

Thanks for posting!!!

You know...even though I've posted some wrist pics, scrolling through pages of hairy wrists with shiny steel or gold is just plain weird. Let's be honest. :-)

That's why I favor more arty macro shots ala Kyle and Dan...and Jocke of course.

What a lovely thing for a wife to say about her husband's passion.

FWIW, I can't understand having 30 pairs of shoes either.

Hi Daren,
Hard to believe how long I've had that one isn't it?
Diana has made it her daily driver so it's just like I sold it but without the cash.
Hey how did that happen?
Best,
Mike

I will never forget our phone call after you got the watch from me bro, you almost made me have a heart attack at the age of 29 or so. I remember you told me your watch guy opened it up and it was full of rust. I was like WTF, you were LOL for a long time!!!

I'm glad she is enjoying it, love the family pics bro, great stuff.
