Women and vintage watches!

I never thought I'd see a vintage watch on anything but the oem bracelet or a nato band! This, is something else.

Cool concept, however,I would not want that to be my Daytona. Somehow a scarf tied around a wrist does not seem that secure!

That's not only unstable, but unattractive too!

One would want to ensure that kind of strap/scarf was secure, otherwise it could be a costly experience.

I think I prefer the oyster bracelet look even on ladies

For safety, I guess you can keep a nato strap under it all. What do the ladies think about this? And more importantly, what does JJ think about this?

It looks like a bad idea regardless.

This is a bad attempt at creating a new marketing strategy for wearing vintage watches. Let's just hope it doesn't catch on (and I'm sure it won't) Yuck!!!

I think it looks nice :) I'd actually be more inclined to wear it, just because it would be super comfortable.

But wouldn't you be afraid of damage to the watch?

I'm sure however it is made, there is something holding it on other than magic. I like it because it doesn't look like a typical watch, but still has the beautiful Daytona face.

OK - I don't have a silk scarf to test for strength, but I don't think I'd trust a heavy Daytona to it.

A ~50,000USD watch hung by a ~300.00USD scarf.

Comfortable Ashley, Yes.
Practical Ashley, No.

Could you imagine your day from start to finish with that "event" on your wrist? It doesn't seem very practical and from that standpoint I "get" the visual effect they are trying to capture.

A lot like six-inch heels on the fashion runway, great for the show, but walk outside and try to hail a cab in them? Another story....

My opinion.

It's not a scarf, it's a female NATO.

True, though walking in heels is really a sport. It should be in the damn Olympics

It would definitely be too much to wear everyday, but it could look nice with a pretty outfit for a night on the town with the girls.

And I don't doubt that it won't be very popular with you lot, being men and all I wouldn't want it, personally, as my wrists are small (and dainty, of course!) and putting anything on them (especially that big) would look ridiculous.

That said, it looks nice in the picture there :)

Sometimes I really hate fashion. This would be one of them. No way, no how I'd do it.

My wife is really into fashion.

She gets all those magazines and I don't see anything that looks practical to wear!

Not my cuppa tea at all! I think it's just WRONG to do that to a Daytona (or any other Rolex)!
