While TRF was closed

I did acquire my Panerai LOGO.

We had just received some new snow, so the drive downtown was fun

Here it is, never been on a wrist yet.

Right out of the box, onto my wrist. This did take me almost a day to put on. Had a tiny bit of buyers remores, but that has since subsided & I have now put on my Crazy Horse strap. Pics to follow.

Congratulations John!

That's a great watch and with the Crazy Horse on, it then becomes truly stunning. Gregs straps are awesome.

Wear it in good health.

Congrats on the new acquisition, John. At first I thought there was a faint subdial at 7:00. Then I realized it was the reflection of the camera lens. Don't scare me like that.

Well, we made it thru Nov with no snow, and no new watches. I am sure both conditions will be subject to change.

Congrats on that new Panerai, looks very nice.
The plain dial is a classic, you must be very happy.
The warm satisfaction should be some compensation for the cold weather :)

It is too one of my favourites. I have had my eye on this one for a long time.
I was hoping to have moved one or two before this one showed up.
All is good now. Thanks to support from some Cdn TRF's, I now have a new plan.
LOL, details to follow.
ps I was looking at "my new plan" already today at my AD

VERY NICE!

This is a good thread, what did YOU do while TRF was closed? Did you find out that you have other bookmarks that you have not checked out in a while? Did you find out all those links were dead?

I've been a little busy here and it is nice to be back.

The PX came out with another coupon, this time 25% off. I passed on the Omega Pro and instead got a Macbook Pro for $500 off. I still want the Omega but I intend it to be a gift for a friend. He can wait until next time.

I am also working with a gentleman to purchase an Enigma. I have always wanted one of these WWII items and thanks to the Internet I can search high and low in a matter of clicks.

The Doha Games are in progress, but I was born deficient of the sports gene so I'll just go back to the mall and look at watches....

You mean you didn't get banned?

Actually, you're just Phase I of plan B. As far as I can tell, there's at least two more phases to complete after you.

If anyone was going to get banned, it would be the guy I was defending, not me.

In any case, I am the key to plan B.

That's completely true.

Um, I think Phase I of Plan B was to cover off the Logo... Phase II is to move the other two and Phase III is the um, new acquisition. While integral to the plan, I wouldn't say you're the 'key'.

LMAO, where do you come up with these sayings?

BTW John... is that Grouse Mountain in the backdrop of your first pic? Looks like ski runs carved into the mountain.
