Yea, if he had just kept his mouth shut about the "aftermarket" bracelet he'd be legal, assuming the bracelet otherwise appeared legal. If that was an authentic Tudor bracelet the most he could be accused of is selling a Frankenwatch.

More newbie questions, if you can take the time:

Is the watch legit?? (Not the bracelet, just the watch itself.) I'm assuming from the vagueness alone that it is probably cobbled together. "Golden" numerals?? Is that code for aftermarket. Wait - is that writing on the caseback?? Is that the clincher? Likely says "Tudor By Rolex"???

Thanks.

Caseback on Tudor has writing as so does some womans Rolex watches. On the mens Rolex watches only a couple have hand writing on them. The "Rolex Report goes over this for Rolex watches only". The book helps guide you through the Rolex watch in detail. Its great to have I use it all of he time. It helps me figure out what is what and you need to ask questions like now, to learn. I have had some doubts to a Rolex being authentic and I was wrong however the forum is for us to learn, I do not make a habit in being wrong. It will take time, I am still new here and education is the key. The dial on a Tudor will not say Rolex on it Just Tudor. The Rolex crown is not displayed on the watch only the Tudor logo.
