50s Rolex Oyster Perpetual Precision Ref.6422 Brevet +
Isn't the Cal 1210 movement a manual wind?
This guy is either confused or passing off a Frankenwatch because the dial reads "perpetual" but he (correctly?) describes the movement as a Manual Wind. I asked him about it and he responded "The dial is refinished". Sounds like the old bob-and-weave routine to me. 30watches ( 402) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_1606wt_955 Member of IWJG and NAWCC, 100% feedback rating Platinum Powerseller bid with confidence! Seller admits it's a Frankenwatch in his reluctant correspondence with me. Beware!

This is a violation of Ebay policy because the Heading is misleading... it's NOT a perpetual. Auction is about to end.
Prodded here.

Look at the movement.... no rotor = no perpetual.
He is supposedly a member IWJG and NAWCC. They too would probably disapprove of this conflicting/deceptive auction. |
