Watches Are On Their Way Back To Me!!!

An investigator from the Richland County Sheriff's office just called. My watches have been turned over to them by TheRolex88 and shipped to me by the sheriff's office via FedEx and should be back in my possession in just days!!!! The wire transfer of $3,800 will follow late today or tomorrow.

I have so many people to thank on TRF for their support, information and even background reports that I don't know where to start. I'm at work now, but I will post a much more detailed summary of this experience soon. I'll also post some ideas I have for making transactions on TRF safer.

I am one happy guy!!!

Congrats again, Mark. Any idea what's going to happen to the guy (TheRolex88)?

I sent photos, serial numbers and full descriptions of the boxes, links, etc. to the officer in SC yesterday at his request so he could verify that I was getting everything back when they were eventually turned in. The officer today felt that the watches and other materials were identical to my descriptions and in the original condition.

The watches are in Champaign, Illinois. (How appropriate!) The sheriff's office didn't spring for overnight or two-day shipping, so Monday is the happy delivery date. As I posted in my other thread, a bank official in South Carolina assured me that I would also receive all of my money back as well. I'll use it to pay for ulcer treatment and anger management counseling!
