Explorer I Question
I have been looking hard at purchasing an Explorer and have noticed that in all the pictures here on TRF, at the bottom of the face where it has Swiss Made with the solid line between the words, in some of the pictures the words are close to the vertical solid line and in other pictures the "Swiss Made" words are farther apart, away from the line.
Just wondering if it has to do with the years made or what. Thanks. |

I think you are right, it has to do with year/serial. I have a "SwissMade" Y-serial, and a "Swiss Made" F-serial - so maybe the change happened around those serial numbers. There's also a little difference in font on the whole dial between these two watches.
