Don't think this gentlemen knows what he has here - DRSD

It appears he has no idea and the watch from the poor pics looks like it could be real???

I sent him a message saying not to take any low ball offers until authenticated.

Not sure if it's real or not, need better pics, but who knows, it could be real.

The description is not at all hyped up, in fact he points out the work that needs doing to the watch and with a starting bid of $500 he had no clue. I think he does now though.....

Too bad it's in Aussie...

Only watch I ever bought from Australia got stuck in Los Angelas US customs for a month and I got a bill from customs for $270 for a $3500 watch! No Mas!

idk01, I think I would have jumped in the A-team van, and blazed a red stripe across the outback. If the van's in the shop take the Pinto!

I did send him an email last night letting him know it may be worth having it authenticated as it could be worth a bit more than his $500 reserve.

Honestly guys, without some super high res. pics of the dial and then a few pictures of the inside of the caseback I would be very weary..It would be great if it turns out to be the real deal but I will remain very skeptical until then..

Steve is right... we are getting too excited too early.

Someone email him for better pics (if not done already).

You have probably already thought of this, but I would...

definetely take detailed scans off the DoubleRedSeaDweller sight of their dials so you can match up. Or just take your laptop and do it.

He has the " double red " term , so unless he is an absolute idiot he must have found out what it may be worth . Or the guy is very shrewd and plays the dummy so he can fool the shark that takes no time in checking and want to run away with a great deal . I would take Steve's attitude towards it . I have stopped believing in Santa Claus a while ago . The days that you could pick up original Monet , Manet , Van Gogh and the occasional Da Vinci in the local jumble sale are over .

I was looking at it too and asked for better pix, telling him that, if it is real, it is worth something, but no reply yet.

If i get any, i will post.

Also, i am pretty sure he got the "Double Red Seadweller" line from one of our notes...

Drsd

Hey thanks mcjp6 for the reference!

I've got a better idea now of what I have in my hot little hand. I will attempt to have it Authenticated. I still want to sell it. It is the real thing of that I'm sure.

Yes it is a DRSD

Hey guys!
I wouldn't waste your time (and mine) jerking you off over this. It is the real deal, no schemes, scams or false alarms. I didn't know what I have but I'm starting to get the picture. Hey! I haven't worn it for years, that's why I dragged it out. Thanks for your candid comments and assistance.
I'm very excited!
