Eastern Europe, was once a backwater area recovering from years of communism. But now Romania Bulgaria is probably the cheapest place still to travel now in Europe.Bulgaria offers a lot of country scenery and hiking trails, the Black Sea coast, and the historic capital Sofia. While it may not have the “wow” factor of Budapest or Prague, prices are still very good good. Most of the major cites in Europe are quite expencive now,IMO the most expencive now is London, and in general the whole UK.
