How to band change
Awaiting my first of three bands I ordered, and have never changed a PAM band. Any suggestions on procedure?

H is 2005, so you have screws. Some people tape the lugs, but the screwdriver that is given to you with the PAM is money and doesn't slip at all. I just screw it with firm/even pressure. Haven't slipped yet.

Warning - I had a SUPER hard time changing the tang buckle on the OEM rubber strap. Getting the pin IN is easy. Getting it OUT is a real pain. It grips onto the rubber too much. Otherwise if you are just changing the LEATHER strap, thats easy.

Thanks, so its take your time simple, or problematic quickly. Let you friends know how I do when my bands arrive. Not changing my pre v from the original, all bands purchased with unique buckles

Like the straps and look forward to the photos On my H18 the tubes are a tight fit and require getting the alignment spot on, whereas the OEM strap just glides in. It just requires a steady hand

I once slipped very hard and scarred the lug on my PAM 220.. :(
But yeah, you need to be very careful, and be patient.. |
