Thanks for the compliments guys..
The blue croco strap is original Panerai strap, I purchased it off my local dealer, they had to order it in from their workshop - as its considered "sparepart" I'm wearing the Ammo today - with my jeans and T-shirt. :) |

The 2 OEM are great. I love Panerai straps. I too have the blue one & love how it radiates blue in the sun and appears gray'ish in ambient light.

nice collection of straps...I was experimenting a bit and the 312 looks great dressed up for the office with an OEM or thin croc and then relaxed for the weeked with a ammo or calf...
nice shots! enjoy

Great collection and welcome to the 312 club! They all look great and I agree that the ammo goes particularly well.

Charlie, from what I've learned, its called Ammo because it was made from the leather of real army ammo (ammunition) pouch. It was collected, and re-made with delicate processing as to retain all the vintage-ness of the original leather.
Mine has the original stamp of the Soldier's name, and dated back to 1959. |
