Strap Thickness

Folks,

I know its a matter of personal taste,
but what is the maximum thickness (mm) you
still considered to be comfy?

And thats also depends on the material right?

I recently ordered 5mm, just curious how
that would fit me, but I love the design.

4.5 or maximum 5mm. Gunny Caitlin is so thick but so comfortable. Good luck Bro.

I recently bought a Caitlin 2 serie, from GunnyStraps and its 5 mm thick. Its very easy on the wrist, but 5 mm is the limit for me.

Cheers

I have a strap that's about 4.5mm and it's OK for me from a comfort perspective. From a looks point of view once you get any thicker the strap would look too chunky probably. The OEM is probably about 3mm thick at the edges but is contoured so slightly thicker in the centre.

Agree - 4.5mm to 5mm max, I have 4.5mm for my Radiomirs and 5mm for my Luminors.

I LOVE super thick straps.

Chunkiness on a PAM looks beautiful and rugged to me. My ammos straps are 5-6mm but I could see myself wearing even thicker without flinching...

The oem croco strap is about 2-2.5mm thick. I personally like my thickness range around 2-4mm. Any thicker than that I just feel bulky.

I think the deciding factor for me is whether or not you will want to wear it under a dress shirt. The after market Heroic 18 simply wont fit under my shirts at 4.6mm.
