Air King Prices

Hello all,

Any ideas on a fair price for a used Air King, preferably 2000 or newer? Also, are AD discounts on Air Kings likely? I'm not in a rush by any means because I don't have the funds at the moment, but I may try to get my finances in a row sometime by the end of this year and try to pull the trigger. Nothing 100%, as I can most certainly wait. I just figured I should try and do some research for a while.

Wow! Sounds like a great deal! Beautiful piece as well. Are discounts that large common on Air Kings since they aren't that popular?

$2700 new seems almost unbelievable unless it was purchased a few years back when the prices were lower. That's over a 30% discount off the current MSRP.

If it's a domed or engine turned bezel, I'd say anything under $3500 would be a good price if it's unworn with the stickers still on. The version with a WG fluted bezel would be in the ballpark of $500 or so more.

I got mine for 20% off in Canada in 2007 MSRP at that time was $4400 plus tax. The same watch now is just under 5000.00 MSRP I think around 4950?

Thank you very much. The best price I've seen on a new model is $3,405 on the Alan Furman website. It's been a while since I've been in the local AD here in town, so I'll have to see what kind of numbers they can do also. Any idea on prices of pre-owned Air Kings? Sorry for all the questions, just figured I should do my homework.

.
Actually just bought it last week. I went back two days ago to try to get a deal on a sub and could only get 10% off. They did have a Cellini marked down around 40%.

Wow, all these prices are sounding pretty promising. Maybe late 2010 will be better than I thought.

Not sure about used prices for the air-king. Also not sure about the web-site you say. I will only deal with the AD but that is just me.

Wow! That is a great deal. Makes me feel bad about what I had to pay for my AK 14010. I purchased this pre-owned with box and papers late last year for the equivalent amount of USD2,500. It was purchased new by the owner in 2001. But those are the prices here in the Philippines. Can only get lower than that if you are willing to forego of the certificate of authenticity.

Good luck on the hunt.
