312 date/time setting
Hi,
I've just rejoined the panerai club 10 mins ago with a 312. Just wondering when setting the date can the hour hand be moved backwards through midnight or is this a big no no. With my old Rolex GMTIIC using the hour hand to change the date say from 24 to 23 was no problem. Also can the minute hand be moved both ways? I'm paranoid about damaging the movement. TIA Mike |

Take it easy
My friend, you are fine, 312 the hour hand be moved both directions, backward through midnight is fine just like Rolex GMT2. I think it said on the instruction manual, take a look.

Oh okay, thanks for sharing the info (didn't bother to read the manual myself), but many watch dealers told me it would be better to turn it clockwise other than counter clockwise..
