Tourneau / Soiffer-Haskin Private Liquidation

Fellow Members,

I got this in the mail and just want to bring this to everyone's attention as a PSA.

Unlike the other 51 weeks of the year where I automatically ignore everything with Tourneau - this is a decent liquidation event.

I won't be able to make it this year due to travel, but I was there last year. I was able to pick up 2 watches (IWC Aquatimer and Cartier Santos Ladies) at 60% discount.

I didn't get the branded box or paper - but for 60% off, I was able to pay for the service and come out ahead :)

Truth be told, if you don't show up on the first 2 days, don't bother - the vultures would have taken their pickings already. The wait was only 30 minutes - a great way to spend Sat AM or PM with your WIS buddies.

Unfortunately there won't be Rolexes.

I appreciate the info. I'll be in NYC on business and will try to get there. I see at the Soiffer website that Rolexes and Patek Phillippes are not included -- I'd welcome the expert opinions of TRF folks as to the best elite brands to focus on at 50-70% off. Thanks.
