Cool Story....

I was walking my dog tonight when I came across an iPhone 3G on the floor. I picked it up and finished walking the dog, then went home. The phone rings, I pick up and it's the owner. After a brief discussion about the phone we decided to meet outside (he lives right next to where he dropped the phone).

I meet the guy on the corner, he naturally thanks me to death and tries to offer me money, I refuse. As he was digging in his pocket I noticed he had a Rolex on. I said to him "nice watch", and proceeded to tell him that I own the same exact one (14060). I showed him mine and we started laughing... Were going to have a beer next weekend and talk watches. I feel good for doing some good!

Great story! Friends who like to talk about watches, a few and very hard to find! Wish you a great time on your get-together!
I feel very fortunate to have met another chap on one of the watch forums, who has also turned out to be a very valued friend. The only friend I know with whom I can talk about watches face-to-face. Fortunately, this forum is another great source.
Cheers ,
Carl

Love hearing about good deeds and new WIS friends. I have only
one watch nerd friend but I enjoy our weekly trips to starbucks to talk watches and cars.

Good times!

This is a nice story.

It brings a 'normality' to life and is how things should be.
