When was the last service ? Are there accessories (boxes and papers) included ? What's the sellers record selling high-end items ?

Sounds fair, plus you probably need a service.

Just my opinion but for a K series, that thing looks like it's in terrible shape. I have worn my K daily and even before I had it serviced in November, it didn't look anything like that on it's worst day. I didn't baby it but...it is a Rolex, I am not sure what happened to make the bracelet and the crystal look so worn.

Just my thoughts but there seems to be much "cleaner" pre-loved SS Subs out there, and on here. Either way, get the best deal you can and be happy with it. I just worry that a watch with that much neglect may not be worth it. I mean, who can't take a minute to clean the crystal before taking pics? I wouldn't sell my car without running it through the wash :-)

My "K" with direct flash... not starting trouble, I just don't think that Sub looks very good.
I hope to be able to try it out with a Daytona bracelet someday!

PS- I rotated the picture to try to match the one posted, it's not a magical gravity defying Rolex!

too funny, I was just about to post an amendment that maybe it is worth $3,000 because there is no way I would part with mine for anything close to $3,000. It's worth more than that in sentimental value alone!

Thanks for the compliments, I was "down" on my Sub and the scratches until the AD took care of it for me... I swear, it's eight years old and I can't stop looking at it every day. Now, the scratches on the PCL on the SS/P Yachtmaster, those drive me nuts!!

Keep us posted if you add that one to your collection...and give it a loving home! :-)

This one is 3.7, I think it's a bit high:

But this N series is 3.1k:

Kyle, are you cheating on us with Timezone.com!?

That first one you posted looks like it's in Amazing shape... if the seller is negotiable, may be on option for the OP, great research!

I think a scotchbrite pad can fix the bracelet.

$3k for a k-serial sub date is a fantastic price. sel with lug holes... awesome.

the fact is that none of us are able to comment on the condition of the watch since we are given only one photo (with redundancies). and it is an awful photo, at that. at that angle and proximity, with the flash on, and the dial slightly out of focus, any watch will look bad.

you need pics different angles. do you have them? may we see? also, tell the seller to turn off the flash, and take some pics near a window for the natural light. the watch needs to be wiped down also, since smudges and dust on a crystal appear as flaws. check the lugs holes for whether or not it has been polished before.

scratches on the bracelet is not a serious matter, and depending on the condition of the case sides/lugs, i say go for it!!!

but we need better pics first... don't buy unless YOU are given better pics.
