New Addition!!! Finally Arrived

So, my M-series GMT Master II finally arrived!!! I got to pick it up this weekend. I bought it from a guy in Florida, who's an architect and an avid watch collector. He actually never worn the watch before but his wife would not let him keep so many so he sold it to me; and let me tell you he did not want to sell it but had to. I guess the wife always wins. Apparently, the first owner was also a watch collector and never worn the watch either. It came complete with everything and most of the stickers were still on the watch!! The watch was beyond my expectations and I absolutely love it.

Unlike my Daytona, I took some pics immediately. I love the details on the GMT. In some ways, I kind of like it more than my Daytona. So here are some pics of it:

Here's the family portrait so far. This will definitely not be the last!!

No, none of the non-ceramic GMT's came with the Rolex engraved rehaut. The M and some late Z came with the new 3186 movement. They were only made for a little over a year with the new movement but old casing. It is a very rare timepiece indeed.

Nice score! Congrats.
A M series 16710 should have a 3186 movement, definitely a keeper.
